Captain Manchester United Antonio Valencia has apparently confirmed his exit from the post club on his official Instagram page.

The Ecudoarian has only made one appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is struggling with injury during his ten year career at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho criticized fitness in Valencia during last season's tour in the United States, and he made only eight appearances.

Solskjaer was in the beginning humble about the 33-year-old's future at the club, but confirmed two weeks ago that Valencia will not get a contract extension when his contract expires at the end of the season.

It seems that Ecudoarian confirmed his departure by posting a photograph of Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford under the title "Thank You".

Scotland signed Valencia for 16 million pounds of Wigan 2009 as a substitute for Cristiano Ronaldo, who was linked to Real Madrid.

Valencia proved to be a popular sign on the right and recovered from the fiery stoppage in 2010 to win the award for Matte Busby's 2012 player.

The former winger moved to the right back in 2015 under Louis Gaal and this proved successful until he was injured.

Valencia scored 338 club appearances, reaching 25 times.
