While we wait at Tarsier Studios’ Little nightmares II later this February, former members of the development team prepared a small horror game themselves. Based in Malmö, Sweden, the new studio known as Section 9 Interactive posted several pictures on their Instagram and Twitter pages of his upcoming project, describing it as a “sci-fi action adventure title for next-generation computers and consoles”.
While Little Nightmares and its sequel have that aesthetic of Tim Burton, the unnamed game of Section 9 turns to something that stems from Ridley Scott Stranger with its dark and desolate surroundings of an alien spaceship. Unfortunately, there is no Giger, but enemies seem to be a mixture of mechanical droids and transforming monsters similar to something you would see in Dead space or BioShock. Sounds good so far.
No release date or further details have been released for this project. In the meantime, Little nightmares II arrives Feb. 21 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
