Newcastle United has completed the signing of Miguel Almirona from Major League Soccer Atlanta United.
The 24-year-old joins Magpies at a contract of five and a half years, to see him at St. James Park until 2024.
Almirón was twice included in the MLS All-Star team and was selected at the MLS Best XI at the end of both seasons with the Georgian club.
It will bring the number 24 for rushes.
"I'm very happy and eager to start and meet new teammates," Almiron told NUFC TV, "The league is very competitive, this is a historic club, and Rafa Benitez itself was the main reason why I'm here now."
"I think this is a great responsibility, something nice for me, and I will try to offer the best I can to restore the trust the club has put in me."
