Cape Town – angry fans of the emitter Robert Marawa threatened by cancellation DStv subscriptions after the sudden shift of the sports manager SuperSport.
SuperSport confirmed on Friday that it has undergone a restructuring process with the decision not to continue their contractual relations with Marawa.
The 46-year-old discovered his 809,000 Twitter followers at a post that the sports channel told him less than two hours before launching his show on Thursday night via SMS to not appear for work.
Marawa hinted that his shift was related to allegations of sexual harassment in the ranks of SuperSport he was talking about.
The payment channel commented on the statement: "SuperSport is in the process of exciting refreshment of its local presentation line, which will be presented as part of our new campaign for the soccer season."
The fans were still outraged by the news, and many threatened to cancel the DSTV subscription. Marawa soon became a popular theme through social media platforms while fans dropped out of their frustrations.
I mean .. without respect to other athletes, but I do not see anyone who would replace Robert Maraw.

@SuperSportTV just to know …. The only reason I paid your ridiculously high subscription was sport. Behind me #RobertMarawa is synonymous with sport! Remember, not just football for me. You lost @robertmarawa, then you lose me as a subscriber!

#RobertMarawa he once took a bullet for his producer who was suspended from SABC and was fired. Now he took a bullet for trainees who were sexually abused by "Top Dogs" and got fired again. But they do not know that you can not keep the good man down, will rise again

Maybe it would be a great time now to invest money in Steve Hoffie's R10k boycott @DStv @SuperSportTV in support of Robert Marawa and earn some money the same bloody time. They have shit anyway, except sport. pic.twitter.com/SsqT9IlaCO
