Police in Johannesburg – KwaZulu-Natal said he was still looking for Inanda taxi driver who allegedly killed his former girlfriend in her family, Inand, north of Durban last week.

The suspect allegedly broke the 24-year-old Mbalenhlea Celea to death in his bedroom in his Inanda home. Since then, they have not seen it.

KZN police spokesman Colonel Thembek Mbele said on Friday that there are still no arrests in the case. "No arrests and the case is still under investigation," she said.

It is not clear why the police failed to find a suspect whose socially-owned face was widely distributed by Celeine's Steven Nyande.

"This guy is somewhere in some house that is hiding! Who protects the killer? Please, please, whoever you ever do, do the right thing, that person is a monster, please send it to the police, "she wrote on Facebook earlier this week.

Celeina's mother, Nonhlanhla, told the Daily News earlier this week that the family is struggling with Mbalenhle's death. Nyanda, on the other hand, said she was aware of the harsh relationship between Mbalenhle and the suspect and recalled that she intended to give her the escape route to Johannesburg.

"I told her she needed only money to get to Johannesburg and get some fresh air. I was very shocked when I got a call on Wednesday that he was dead, "she said
Daily news.
