Mid-afternoon on Thursday: Three licensed arrive at Racing Victoria for testing

Coach Darren Weir, Assistant Coach Jarrod McLean, and Tyson Kermond, a permanent employee, arrived at the Racing Victoria headquarters on Thursday after they were invited to face the manager.

Development took place after Wednesday's attack on police police at the two Weirove Barns, Warrnambool and Ballarat, and the seizure of four police officers, unregistered firearms and a substance believed to be cocaine.

Victoria Victoria (RV) raiders today opened an investigation after executing a warrant for a search by the Victorian police yesterday at a property in Ballarat and Warrnambool, where three licensed race participants were arrested and later released without charges.

"Licensed Coaches Darren Weir and Jarrod McLean and licensed Leader Tyson Kermond attended RV offices where the managers were questioned.

"Managers postponed their investigation late in the evening to consider the information they have at hand and get legal advice. It is expected that further updates will be announced tomorrow."
