Marathon participants died in Vienna
VIENNA. The 36th Viennese city marathon is sad.
Over 60-year-old participant died on Sunday afternoon in Vienna's AKH, organizers said. The runner crashed during the race and was taken to the hospital. The rescue chain worked perfectly.
"We are affected by this event, our honest grace and our concern for our companions," said organizer Wolfgang Konrad. The background to death has not been known so far.
