One-week strike for higher wages in Audia in Hungary ended after the deal. Audi Hungaria and AHFSZ trade unions have reached an agreement, a car manufacturer yesterday announced. Details are not mentioned. Manufacturing at the factory in Győr in the west of the country continues.
The AHFSZ union called on workers Wednesday for a weekly strike last week. He originally called for an increase of 18 percent. Negotiations started in September but did not lead to results at first.
VW's subsidiary Audi employs about 13,000 people in the engine of Győr. The AHFSZ syndicate claims there are about 9,000 members there.
