(Ebel / Compact) PM: In addition to Innsbruck, the Vienna Capitals and the VSV in the European Union have also taken advantage of the opportunity to cope with their staff.
Spusu Vienna Capitals reacted to the last five defeats, recognizing the majority of goals (27) from all twelve clubs and bringing a new defender to US Patrick Mullen. The 32-year-old came for Europe for the first time in 2016, defending for the Line (KHL), Linköping (SWE) and Mannheim (DEL). He spent most of his career in a big defeat, but so far in the American Hockey League (AHL), where between 2009 and 2017, 414 missions scored 183 points (41T / 142A). "After injury to the defeat of our defenders Marc-André Dorion and Mat Clark, there was time to strengthen the defense. With Patrick Mullen we managed to devote ourselves to the experienced right-hand man, who not only has 414 appearances in AHL on a business card, but is familiar with European hockey, "said Franz Kalla, general manager of the Vienna Capitals. Patrick Mullen finishes his first training on Friday with Spus Vienna Capitals.
Due to the long-lasting injuries of Christof Kromp, EC Panaceo VSV had to become active in the transfer market and was mandated by American Kevin Goumas on the Try-Out basis.
The 26-year-old assailant, who also serves as a midfielder and wing, started hockey career at Canterbury School and Indiana Ice before moving to the University of New Hampshire. He spent four seasons there and scored so many points in 146 games (44 goals and 102 assists).
Then Goumas followed a call to AHL where he debuted at Micha Raffl, Adirondack Phantoms. In the 2014/2015 season he played the full season for the first time in the American Hockey League. In the Lehigh Valley Phantom band, he won with Brandon Alderson VSV striker. Overall, Goumas came on 132 AHL umbrella and scored 34 points (13 goals and 21 assists).
In 2016, the winger attacked for the first time in Europe, Moras in Allsvenskan (the second Swedish league). With 14 goals and 30 first-round assists and six more goals and three play-offs, Goumas had a significant share in the rise of the Sea at SHL. The next summer, however, he was down. Because of knee injuries, Americans missed last season.
Goumas worked hard on his return, which this year finally succeeded in Björklöven. After eight missions, however, they split ways and thus seized the VSV opportunity. After thorough medical examinations and several ice units, Major Trainer Gerhard Unterluggauer decided to equip Kevin Goumas with a trial contract for the next ten games.
