The High Court has dismissed the appeal of former BNP deputy Hafiz Ibrahim against the Bhola-2 Electoral Authority for the dismissal of 100 pieces of gas tragedy filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). It has earlier been ordered to be dismissed in the lower court within six months by suspending the suspension in the case proceedings.
Justice Md. Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Court KM Hafizul Alam issued a verdict on Sunday. Attorney Khurshid Alam Khan was the lawyer of ACC. Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Deputy State Attorney, AKM Amin Uddin Manik and Hafiz Ibrahim were in favor of the state.
On June 13, 2007, the joint forces recovered 100 relief corpses from three canisters of Hafiz Ibrahim College in Maniram Bazaar under Tobi's syndrome under Borhan Uddino, switched to Bhole. That case was filed on Burhanuddin's police station on that day. Following the investigation, on 18 January 2009, papers were filed against former State Minister for Religious Affairs Mosharraf Hossain Shahjahan, Hafiz Ibrahim, SM Gaznavi College Chairperson, UP President Jasim Uddin Chowdhury. In such a situation, on October 1, 2013, the High Court interrupted the rule of Hafiz Ibrahim, as well as the case against the WOLF, not knowing why the case would not be overturned. After the last debate on the rule yesterday was rejected.
It should be noted that the High Court acquitted him of three years' imprisonment and was fined 50 million dollars in a case filed for allegations of confiscation of property information.
