After three seasons, Netflix officially canceled the Daredevil series (via Variety). Recently streaming services also stopped Luke Cage and Iron Fist, leaving only The Punisher and Jessica Jones on Netflix's Marvel Series. Warrant cancellation has not been officially verified, but the site of social production has been redesigned.
"We are very proud of last season and while it is painful for fans, I think it's best to finish the high-profile story," he told Variety on Monday. "We are grateful to Erik Oleson, writers, staff and actors, including Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and thanks to the supporters who have been supporting us over the years."
The statement also states that although the series is over, "the three existing seasons will remain available for years, while Daredevil will live on future Marvel projects."
Daredevil's first series was the fruit of a partnership between Marver and Netflix, the first season to be released in 2015. You can check out the latest episodes in which IGN Brazil The third season is considered the best in the series.
In 2019, Disney, owner of Marver, plans to launch its own streaming service, called Disney +.
