Weak Liverpool bows to the Saints

In a great match of the 17th round of the English Premier League, Southampton beat Liverpool 1-0 at their stadium.

The only goal of the match fell in the 2nd minute, when Danny Ings remained uncovered in the penalty area and transferred Alison in a great way.

Liverpool had more control over the ball, but never found their way to the door of the “saints”.

So in the next round Manchester United and Liverpool will face equal points (33) at the top, but the “red devils” have a game less. With the win, Southampton collected 29 points and climbed to 6th place in the standings.

Less than two minutes have passed since the start, and the hosts have found the result. Ward-Praus sent a nice pass, from a direct free kick, to Danny Ings, and the Saint striker transferred Alison in a very technical way.
