San Francisco, July 22 (IANS) To help align your devices, Apple can add a quick and extremely smooth look to its 2020 line of phones for which the company is currently talking to Samsung and LG.
LG and Samsung are also known as the two largest AMOLED smartphone vendors in the world.
"Apple is considering switching the 60Hz / 120Hz screen on the iPhone in 2020 and discussing with Samsung and LG," Apple confidently said on Sunday, Ice Universe.
According to the "switchable 60Hz / 120Hz", it is assumed that next year iPhones could switch to a refresh rate of 60Hz whenever static images are displayed to preserve the battery, Tech Radar reported.
If true, it would not be the first time the iPhone maker would drop mobile devices with 120Hz views.
In the absence of OLED screen technology and supporting the LED Retina ProMotion screens, all Apple's 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPads, which have emerged since 2017, had an exceptionally quick refresh.
OLED displays come with several advantages like individually illuminated pixels, perfect black and low power consumption.
More details on the technology of the screens that Apple plans to use for its iPhone iPhones so far do not reveal.
It is expected to launch four devices with compatibility of 5G and advanced 3D technology next year.
The new line will help companies sell 195 million units in 2020, compared to the estimated 180 million in 2019, the media reported.
Currently, Apple is preparing to launch this year's iPhone 11 device in September.
