Kelowna RCMP issues a petition to help find a missing man since October

Okanagan's mother seeks help in finding a son, 19-year-old Kelowna, who last contacted her family in October.

"It's been a while since we've heard about it," Cherie Tessier said on Facebook on Wednesday. "I hope this message will be found."

Kelowna RCMP has said they do not believe that Lucas Tessier-Maynard more in the Okanagan area, however, have no indication where it could be.

"No one has seen or heard him since October 16, 2018," they said in a statement. "The Kelowna RCMP requires all information that could lead to its location or confirmation of its welfare. It is beyond character that he is missing for this period and has no known means of support. "

Young friends were worried to respond to his mother's work.

The family reported missing 28 December.

"I worked with Lucas at Johnny's Meats. My heart hurts when I hear about it, "said Alan Boyko.

His mother said he had a lack of contact: "Strange, even for him."

"I get teenage fear, but he did not pick up money for Christmas! [are] concerned, "she wrote in response to post-social issues.

Some claimed that he might have gone to Thunder Bay, Ont.

His mother was skeptical, but open to suggestions.

"I wish you could see him telling him we were greeted and called his mother!"

Tessier-Maynard is described as:

  • Brown eyes
  • Brown hair
  • Slim look (about 110 pounds)
  • Height of about five meters and seven

Anyone with information on where Lucas Tessier-Maynard is located should call Kelown RCMP at 250-762-3300, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously, either by calling 1-800-222-8477 or by posting advice on the Internet at www. bccrimestoppers.com.
