Milwaukee Bucks ahead Nikola Mirotić has decided to sign a contract with the Euroleague club Barcelona, Shams Charania of Athletic reports. An unlimited free agent is fresh from the eastern finals of the Milwaukee Bucks conference.
Mirotić, 28, played in the ACB Spanish League before coming to the NBA with Chicago Bulls and will now return, though for the second team. From 2008 to 2014, Mirotic played for Real Madrid, will now play for Barcelona.
Mirotic averaged 11.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in Milwaukee's mid-season, earning $ 12.5 million during the 2018-1910 campaign. He could make another big day in the NBA and, like Marc Stein of the New York Times reports, had prospects in Utah and Dallas.
The terms of Mirotić's deal with Barcelona are still unknown.
