Public health officials hope to soon have a better idea of how the spread of COVID led to a lockdown two weeks ago.
Chief Health Officer Dr. Janice Fitzgerald notes that through the initial investigation, they saw it spread not only within the school, but also through other social activities.
However, health officials have not yet been able to fully analyze the epidemiology. Dr. Fitzgerald says this is because initial examinations and seeking contacts have taken up a lot of public health resources.
Now that things are slowing down, officers can investigate the case more deeply and better understand how the transfer came about.
