Beginning on December 14, Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone (known as ConcernedApe) will only be releasing indie titles on PC, XBO, PS4 and PS Vita. Chucklefish remains as a publisher on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms.

As detailed in the developer blog, Baron records transition to self-documentation Stardew Valley as organic, write how willing he is to go forward.

"I think self-publishing is the ultimate goal of most indie developers, and I'm happy to be in the place where it's possible!"

"When I was released for the first time Stardew Valley, I was a complete novice in the video game industry, "he writes. Chucklefish, as my publisher, oversaw distribution, console port and game translations. They have created an official wiki and helped to redesign the site, to a great extent. "

Chucklefish will remain as a publisher for Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms to monitor the upcoming update for multiplayer and new Android version Stardew Valley.
