Toronto bells 2019: what is open and closed to the New Year

The New Year's night in the center of Toronto took over Nathan Phillips Square, and hundreds of them dropped to rain in order to count down the last minute of the year.

Celebrations included skating and live performances.

While the crowds were slimmer due to the dull weather – in the true Canadian style, many Toronto still enjoyed skating to the melodies that DJ Money Jane and DJ MelBoogie lived. Music works include R & B LIZA singer, Cadence Weapon rapper and I Tribute Called Red (ATCR) co-founder Ian Campeau, also known as DJ NDN.

Added magic has been added to this year's music with the UK's biggest show of illusion, the Champions of Magic, with a fascinating audience with a special performance.

The night ended with the traditional fireworks from the sparks that came from the buildings of the City Hall and left them, which led to a spectacular show.
