What changed in the EV industry in September and October?

It has been a while since I wrote the article "What has changed in the EV industry …?", So now I'm running through three months of news as we approach the end of November.

Below is a sign of significant September and October news electric vehicles.


September

You do things

Model Tesla 3 became the fifth best selling car in the United States and then the fourth best-selling car.

Tesla brought model 3 to the Paris car show.

We found that UBS's Tesla Model 3 cost report was wild pessimism and based on illogical assumptions. We also pointed out that UBS has a long history of wrong pessimism at Tesla.

Audi, Amazon, Electrify America and Arcadia Power teamed up for EV co-operation.

batteries

LG Chem raised the targeted power to produce the 2020 battery by 29% from 70 GWh to 90 GWh.

EV Volumes have shown how the chemical battery EV replaced the last few years.

Other EV things

Cruise Automation

Honda invested $ 2.75 billion in Cruise Automation.

Kreisel Electric has introduced an automated 2-speed electric car transmission.

October

Tesla

"The Tesla Effect" began to hit CNBC air waves.
