Mexico, Dec. 30 (Notimex) .- Artificial tears are the best solution for a dry eye syndrome, which has no drug and has a multifactorial origin.

Medications, air conditioning, the use of electronic devices, autoimmune diseases, hormonal changes and some of the eyecap features are some of the factors that produce dry eye.

There are three main types of dry eye: for lack of water, to reduce tear production and dry evaporation.

Although they appear for the first time in adults over the age of 40 and are more common in postmenopausal women, symptoms of dry eye can occur at any age.

Dry eye can be caused by local viral, systemic or immune disorders including Sjörgen syndrome.

There are artificial tears that relieve the symptoms of various types of dry eye (evaporation or poor tear quality), for better coverage and widespread protection.

Symptoms are, most often, dryness, eye discomfort, redness, light sensitivity, garbage and blurred vision.
