The second largest bid after the one made in the El Teniente section in 2018 today presented workers at Work No. 5 and Mining Unions Chuquicamate this week, with whom the collective bargaining process has been conducted since last week.
The bid – which retains all the benefits of the current agreement, with the exception of the life insurance administration, who went to the company – consisted of a total of $ 14.5 million, adjusting the salary of 1, 2, and 36 months.
Accordingly, the amount of compensation, according to the consulted sources, is $ 9 million, as a bonus for the negotiation deadline; $ 1.5 million, early signing; $ 1 million to rebuild the working day; and an affordable $ 3 million loan.
In addition, the proposal also includes 1.5 basic wages for loan advances, which can be deducted in 36 months, with approximately $ 900,000, which is the average amount associated with this fee.
Unions will have voices tomorrow.
