Google wants to remove the touch screen thanks to the new radar-based technology

A few years ago, specifically in 2015, Google introduced Project Soli, a technology that will enable them to control mobile or any touchscreen without touching it, only thanks to the radar.

When this initiative was considered dead, the FCC left in the United States proper licenses for the company to use it.

In a small radar-based chip operating between 57 to 64 GHz, it can recognize the gesture of your hands and as a concept to plan for use in smart clocks, loudspeakers, cell phones and more.

It is now similar to the technology seen in the past, though it has not become widespread. Without any further steps, the prototype of the Nokia McLaren prototype (among other devices) that some have happiness can be managed without touching the screen, although its functionality is not optimal and the technology used is not as advanced as Google. Doing away does not recognize the gesture.

Perhaps initiatives such as the Google Project Solitude are the beginning, and finally, the existence of these floating panels that, through gestures, are used by protagonists of the series and science-fantasy films.
