Confirmed by the China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center, an African swine fever epidemic occurred in Bayi district, Gongbu Jiangda district, and Bomi district in Linzhi. Up to now, 55 live pigs have been killed in the aforementioned epidemic.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent the management team to the local area. Local self-government has launched an emergency intervention mechanism in line with requirements and measures such as blockage, destruction, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., in order to treat all diseased and destroyed pigs harmlessly. At the same time, it is forbidden to transport the pigs and their products from the blockade, and the pigs are banned for transport in a blockage. The measures are currently being implemented.
