The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority has announced plans to build a $ 50 million coffee park. The park, the authority said, will play an important role in promoting Ethiopian coffee to the global community.
Hyiru Nuru, director of market information and control at Ethiopia's Coffee and Tea Authority, said Ethiopia and South Korea will join in building a park resting on 30 acres of land in Addis Ababa. Among other things, the park will have a coffee museum and a coffee market. Mr Hiruy said the construction of the park would be completed in three years.
It should be recalled that the Authority has announced an effort to develop an umbrella national coffee brand for Ethiopia.
