Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiadis at a press conference tonight avoided commenting on the resignation of Kotis from the Greek Foreign Ministry and whether it was taking over Mr Tsipras's ministry "step backwards or forwards"
"I would not want to comment a lot and compare whether Mr. Kotzias is more appropriate than Mr Tsipras. I believe that they are equally good patriots," Mr Anastasiades said, as reported by the Athens news agency correspondent.
Asked how often he communicates with Mevlott Tsavousoglu and communicates with some in Turkey if something happens in the EEC, he replied that his meeting in New York with Mr. Tsavousoglu was resolved at Kotzia and Tsavousoglu, "because (Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs We've met Mr Tsavousoglu since 2005, but this is the second time we talk about Cyprus, "said Mr. Anastasiades.
He also said that his proposal for decentralization of powers "creates a sense of security for Turkish Cypriot, removes the steadiness of positive vote in all decisions, but also removes Turkey's assertions of security and invasive rights to protect Cypriot Turks from arbitrary Greek Cypriot decisions".
Responding to the relevant question, President Anastasiades said that "if a solution is found, there will be no Cypriot Tourists".
