Cathay Pacific travel load rose by 0.9% in October –

Cathay Pacific Airways (00293) announced that Cathay Pacific Airways and Cathay Pacific Dragon Airways transported a total of 2,950,500 passengers in October, an increase of 0.9% on an annual basis, and passenger load factor increased by 0.3 percentage points point to 81.6%. 3.8%.

In addition, passenger loads increased by 1.9% in the first 10 months of this year, while capacity increased by 3.1%, cargo volume increased by 6.4%, capacity increased by 3.1%, and revenue cargo and mail per ton kilometers has also increased by 6%.

Lin Shaobo, director of the Cathay Pacific Business and Freight, said passenger transport in October was slightly higher than the growth in passenger revenue, while passenger capacity remained strong, especially in the first class and business class. Nevertheless, the yield of the economy cabin continued to be under pressure, mainly due to unfavorable foreign exchange rates and favorable prices.

He continued that, in terms of freight transport, total cargo income during the month was very satisfactory, and revenue growth far exceeded capacity growth. Expectations are expected to continue in November, while at the same time paying attention to external factors that may affect global trade.
