Like last year, the district health department appears to be ill-equipped to handle H1N1 patients.
As the district health department issued a tip on the spread of swine flu in the county, the isolation department intended for patients with the H1N1 virus lies in a civilian hospital.
Poor preparedness of the Health Department has come to light as the swine flu department within the mini ICU building is still operational.
A senior civil hospital official said swine flu patients needed ventilation support and hospital fans were not available.
