Garda appealed to witnesses after a hit and escaping incident with young children in Bandon – Cork Safety Alert



Gardais are referring to information after a road traffic crash that took place on Oliver Plunkett Street in Bandon tonight on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

About 18 hours. the infant hit a passing motorist. The car did not stop and drove to the Bandon Fire Station. A child (male, 2 years) was taken to a hospital at Cork University, and his injuries are not life threatening.

Gardaí appealed to witnesses to come, anyone in the area, or traveled to Oliver Plunkett, Bandon at or before the collision, which could help with any information. They are especially appealing to drivers with a dash of cam shot incident to make it available.
