Two men were arrested after the gardai confiscated 180,000 euros in Cork last night.
A massive find came after the police searched two houses at Maulbaun Estate, Passage West, about 23 hours.
During the search, Gardai found a huge amount of drugs that included cannabis resin, ecstasy tablets, cannabis plant and cocaine.
The amount of cash was also deducted.
Two men, aged 40 and 50, were arrested at the scene and are currently in detention under Section 2 of the 1996 Drug Fraud Law on Drugs at Bridewell Garda Station in Cork.
On Saturday night, the Guardian confirmed that the two were released without a charge, while a file would be prepared for the Public Prosecutor's Office.
A spokeswoman for the race said: "Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit arrested the amount of drug with an estimate of EUR 180,000 (pending analysis) and arrested two men during a planned sale and drug delivery operation in Cork,
"The planned search for two houses was held at Maulbaun Estate, Passage West, Cork, last night at 11 am on Friday, November 9, 2018.
"During the search, the amount of cannabis, ecstasy, cannabis and cocaine was deducted with some money.
"Two men (1 in the mid 50's and 1 in the late 40's) were arrested at the scene and were currently detained under Article 2 of the Drug Enforcement Act 1996 in Bridewell Garda Station in Cork, days."
