Likud MK Oren Hazan is expected to receive an unprecedented punishment from the Knesset Ethics Committee, after Gilera called "Merom" Ilan Gilon "half-man" when Gilon spoke from the booth at the Knesset plenum.
Hazan traveled to Gilona, who called him "the great," which is a foolish anthropomorphic being. Hazan then repeatedly called Gilon a half-human.
After that, Hazan betrayed what he called an apology, saying that his call to Gilona was called only by his animal behavior, and not just anything like his handicap. He said he would apologize to those who misunderstood him otherwise.
As evidence that Gilon's offense was not focused on his handicap, Hazan noted that he used the same insult to describe capable MKs before. He said he saw all human beings equally alike.
MK have urgently filed complaints against Hazan's Ethics Committee Knesset, who has been in the past six months off the plenum. MK are currently looking for a nine-month sanction, as well as fitting part of their wages.
The Zionist Union has said it should be suspended for an indefinite period of time. Meretz said that Hazan's behavior shows how much his fallen Likud fell.
This was not the first time Hazan offended MK disabled. In November 2015, MK Karin Elharar (Yesh Atid), who had muscular dystrophy, had difficulty and sought help from Meretz MK Esawi Frej, who sat next to her.
PLOST VIDEOS TO KNOW:
Hazan began to scream at Freya for twice voting, Elharar broke into tears, and many of the deputies, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, came to her and comforted her. Netanyahu later threatened Hazan.
But that was not enough for Hazan. A few days later, during another voices, Hazan shouted to Elhararu: "Do you need Esawi to help you?" The Ethics Committee Knesset suspended Hazana for a month in response to his behavior.
