Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, prime minister and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a meeting in Osaka, Japan.

During the meeting, they discussed areas of joint co-ordination, particularly in the area of ​​trade and investment, and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in the oil field.
On the margins of the meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia had reached agreement with Saudi Arabia on the extension of the OPEC agreement on reducing oil production for six to nine months.
"The agreement will be expanded in the present form and in the same amounts," he said at a press conference after talks with the prince.
Opec and its producers should meet on July 1 and 2 to discuss a production reduction agreement, and the deal is over by June 30.
