After a series of teasing from the cast, including Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya, Spider-Man director Jon Watts somehow set a record and revealed that Spidey’s new sequel will be titled Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The stars of the film revealed the title in a new video, while the stars discussed the fake titles they were given and whether they could be confided with these Marvel secrets after leaving Watts ’office.
Just yesterday, the three main stars jokingly revealed separate names for the film, including Phone Home, Home-Wrecker and Home Slice. The video above exhausts some of the many, many considered names, and all include the word home that follows the tracks Back Home and Far from Home, before the team stopped at No Way Home.
Spider-Man 3 is currently scheduled for a release date of December 17, 2021, and although there are reports that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return for this new film, Tom Holland has denied those rumors, saying he has read the entire script and that it would be a great secret to hide from Spider-Man himself.
Find out more about Spider-Man 3 in Holland’s comments on how this film will be “the most ambitious stand-alone superhero film ever made” and all the details about Dr. Strange’s appearance in the sequel to Far from Home.
Marvel also revealed this week that the Disney + series Loki is set for a June release, following the soon-to-be-wrapped WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier, which will begin airing in March.
