Security investigators have three unsafe Amazon S3scans Israeli destination. This is TB data, of which three-quarters of the email backups. Not all affected companies are exposed, but Attunity has big buyers.
On Attunity's website, the company claims to provide 44 Fortune 100 services and more than 2,000 customers. Names that mention include Philips, Ford and Mercedes. The report, which comes from UpGuard, also includes Netflix. Attunity migrates and manages data for its clients and uses analytics.
Email backups and other files contain both usernames and passwords for administrative accounts, including invoices, OneDrive backups, user system specifications, and employee personal information, including those of Attunity, here and there. Probably the employee numbers in the latter were probably their examples social security numbers. Finally, the customer data and the data on the companies trading with the companies involved are also included.
Leakage was discovered by UpGuard on May 13 this year, and security experts contacted Attunity on May 16th. The leak was closed the next day. Attunity did not comment on the leak on its website or social channels.
