Organizer Phil Sprey offered $ 10,000 for a campaign for someone to fight Welling Justin Lester, mayor.
Organizer Phil Sprey does not care whether he will go to the left or right – he just wants a viable candidate to win Mayor Welling Justin Lester in the next election.
Sprey offered to drop $ 10,000 in the Maying Campaign for Welling's Mayor, but, since he called, no one put his name in the foreground.
"[Lester] Wellington killed … His regime saw the death of Sevena, parking, shopping CBD, Shelly Bay, Museum of Film, still no arena, losing money at long crossings, funny cycling trails (including riot in Island Bay), bus flips .. "Sprey said on his Facebook page.
But Lester, Sprey was "all the talk" and he opposes each of his points.

Wellington's economy flourished, there was a rise in retail spending in the city, and the capital was focused on the events "Wellingtonians want and attend," he said.
Among them were Beervana, Cuba Dupa, Wellington on the board, the great Matariki celebration, massive Eminem concert 2019 and the 30th event WearableArt.
The announcement at the congress center and the arena will be made before Christmas, and the final seventh tournament in Wellington was such an unpopular ticket that could not be given, he said.
"If Phil wants to live in the 1990's, it's more than welcome. I'm focusing on today's Wellington's future," Lester said.
The beginning of the seventh tournament death and the decision on progress on Bay Bay Island was made before he was the mayor. The bus system has largely dropped to the Wellington Regional Council.
Lester became the mayor of 2016. In 2017, when announced, the seventh rugby tournament will leave Wellington, and in August 2018, when a free parking weekend in the central city would be voted, this led to claims that the companies were affected.
The decision of the council to quickly track the $ 500 million development of Shelly Bay through consensus has led to alarm and legal challenge. In August it was announced that the plug was withdrawn to Sir Peter Jackson and a joint congress center and a movie museum.
Some Bay Island residents have announced in October that they go to the court's estimate of the island's island voyage.
Sprey thought that Lester was too focused on "big bits", but the council had to focus on "basic infrastructure" such as water supply, waste water, transportation and driving.
He would have given $ 10,000 a campaign for anybody – whether they were left or right-winged – to fight against Lester until they got back to the basics of the local body.
Sprey said he was not interested in himself.
