We're talking about a possible doubling of staff. Today, Koenigsegg has about 300 employees, and now the Swedes will hire "several hundred new people" at a manufacturing facility in Ängelholm.
He said this recently to Halldori von Koenigsegg's Chief Operating Officer during the "Web Summit" in Lisbon. By the way, this is one of the largest technology conferences in the world.

Koenigsegg's goal is to double production from about 20 cars a year to 40 in the near future. In addition to focusing on pure hyper petrol cars, Koenigsegg will focus even more on partial and fully electric models.
That became clear after Nevs (National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB) bought 20 percent of Koenigsegg a year ago for 150 million euros.
