The review is based on the latest information released by the Armed Forces. The Norwegian Public Road Administration reserves the right to change. Military columns have a different way of driving from another traffic. The column may consist of a maximum of twelve vehicles and the speed may be lower than the permitted speed. The Norwegian State Road Administration requires road users to be more aware of, and show consideration and calculate a little extra driving time on relevant roads in relevant time periods.

Traffic in training areas

Training ground during Trident Juncture is over. The next few days will be a lot of military traffic from the field of training and back to the collection area. Then people, equipment and vehicles will be transported from the ground on the same roads and in the same way as they – in military columns. The difference from land transport is that the shipment takes place in less time. Delays and, sometimes, major downtime on the relevant road network are expected in November. Norway's Public Road Administration recommends that you choose E6 Gudbrandsdalen by November 15 if you drive to Oslo – Trondheim.
