The exchange rate dropped on Wednesday as the sun halted after most of the currency in the region, amid the international copper price, the main export product of Peru.
At 10:20 local time (15:20 GMT), the dollar dropped 0.09% on S / 3,354 in the interbank market, which is lower than S / 3,357 at Tuesday's closing.
At an international level, the dollar grew by 0.10% compared to the currency basket, according to Reuters.
On the other hand, the dollar recorded the redemption price between S / 3,125 and S / 3,305 in major city banks; while the sales price ranged from S / 3,390 to S / 3,575.
In exchange houses and on the streets of the capital city (parallel market), the exchange rate was published at S / 3,380 for purchase and S / 3,347 for sale.
