Samsung announced the latest smartphone smartphone – W2019. This device, the natural successor to the launch of the W2018 in December last year, brings new features, dual cameras and a more powerful processor.
The W2019 has two Super AMOLED displays, one external and one internal – and a 4.2 "resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Measuring 132.9 x 63.4 x 17.3 mm and weighing 257 grams, the device provides a rear made of glass and available in two colors: Rose Gold and Platinum.
When the turn is open, we will see the right keyboard and the number below it. As a safety feature, Samsung has a biometric reader inserted to the right. Inside, we have a Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor. Two storage variants are available: the first with 128 GB and the other with 256 GB – both with 6 GB of RAM and can be expanded via microSD.
In the camera section there are two horizontally positioned rear sensors with main f / 1.5 if / 2.4 and secondary aperture f / 2.4 – both 12MP with optical image stabilization, 2x optical zoom and can record videos at 4K at 60fps or slow shooting at 960fps at Full HD resolution.
Connection options include: Dual-SIM, VoLTE 4G, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / AC, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2. Unfortunately, the W2019 does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. In the software, the Samsung Experience based on Android 8.1 Oreo is factory-installed. For the device to be connected, we have a 3.070 mAh battery – no such fast charging technology.
So far, Samsung has not confirmed the price of W2019, but it is believed that the South Korean company should sell this model for $ 1,439. It is important to note that this smartphone line flip is exclusive to China.
However, if you are looking for a top-of-the-line device with the same W2019 processor and other more interesting features, you can bet on the Galaxy Note 9, which has already been sold to several markets. The new Samsung phablet can be purchased with up to 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, reaching 1 TB via microSD.
