Elected MPs pay short-term parking fees at HDB parking since January 1st



SINGAPORE: The annual parking fee for elected parliamentarians has been revised.

From 1 January 2019, the annual parking permit costs HRK 250, which is currently reduced from HRK 365.

However, the new fee covers parking only at the Sabory House for official business, and does not include parking at HDB parking lots.

"Representatives will have to pay the overriding short-term parking fees for using these parking spaces HDB through Electronic Parking System (EPS) or Mobile ParkingSG applications," he told the circles to MPs issued by parliamentary deputy.

The circular added that parking permits allow MPs to park at any party in HDB parking spaces, including parking season.

Currently elected MPs pay $ 365 for their annual permit enabling them to park in HDB parking lots (including seasonal parking lots) and at the Parliamentary House.
