Instagram from Facebook Inc. said on Friday (November 30th) that he launched a new feature called "Close Friends" that allows users to share their stories with a smaller group of people.
A new feature that will appear on the user profile in the side menu enables more than one billion Instagram users to create a smaller group of friends and share a story with the group alone.
"If you're in some of your close friends, you'll see a green ring around your photo in the Stories drawer and the green badge when you're watching their stories," Instagram said in a Reuters release.
Facebook has focused on Instagram, its fastest-growing revenue generator, as the core platform for social networking websites is fired by regulators that are pushing for improved privacy protection, anti-social drug addiction, and stopping wrong information or false news,
In October, Instagram placed longtime staff Adam Mosseri as the app's manager for sharing photos after the release of Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger's photo sharing co-rapporteur.
The owner of Snapchata, facing the rigid competition of Instagram, redesigned the app to attract more users and advertisers.
Snap also invested $ 250 million in investment from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia because he was redirected to a self-service model for advertisers.
