Almost half of people want Kiska to end up in politics



Should President Andrej Kiska have to establish a new political party or join the existing one, or should he leave politics at all? These questions were asked by the Focus survey conducted by TV Markiza.

According to the survey, 49.2 percent of respondents want Andrej Kiska to leave politics.

The "Political Party" response was chosen by 19.4 percent, and 18 percent of respondents believe that Kiska should join the existing political group. Another 13.4 percent of respondents could not comment on the question.

SNS voters (82.6 percent), extremists Ls-Our Slovakia (80.9 percent) and Smer-SD (77.1 percent) want to leave the final head of state.

The new side of Kiska is mostly looking for SaS voters

The idea of ​​establishing a new party, according to the FOCUS survey for TV Markíza, is given to respondents who have called themselves SaS voters. Up to 45.8 of them favored that Kiska go to the political ring under his own brand.

In this study, 35.8 percent of respondents and 35.7 percent of family voters are in NOVA NGO surveys.

In the fourth place (34.9 percent), Progressive Slovakia – TOTAL coalition voters ended up in this case. These parties were in the past linked to Andreja Kiska's other activity on Slovakia's political map.

It is not surprising that the largest percentage (39.6 percent) of the Progressive Slovakia – TOTAL coalition voter, according to the FOCUS survey, wants the missing state leader to enter an existing political entity.

But this option would not be against 33.7 percent of SaS voters and 32.7 percent of Most-Hid voters.

Where they want to see Kiska from Caputa and Kiskog

Interesting data reveals and researches FOCUS for TV Markíza and, in the near future, how voters of former presidential candidates – Zuzana Čaputová, who will replace Kiska in the presidential palace, and Maroš Šefčovič.

Up to 35.7 percent of future presidential voters in the second round would want Kiska to decide to go their political path. 26,5 voters decided to go to the existing entity. And 25 percent advises the president to go to a political retirement.

According to expectations, voters of Maroš Šefčovič hold quite different preferences (in the second round, red), which was supported by Smer-SD at the presidential elections.

According to the research, only 6.9 percent of them want a new Kiskov side. Entering the already existing political entity would support 14.9 percent of Šefčović's voters. However, up to 71.1 percent of them prefer to see Kiska outside politics.

The FOCUS agency conducted a survey for TV Markisi on 28-29. March 2019 on a sample of 1204 respondents.
