The amniotic membrane, the deepest placenta, helps with the treatment
not waving, and thus represents a major breakthrough in regenerative
medicine. This was stated by pharmacist Ľudmila Kišeláková and other experts
On Wednesday in Bratislava.

The product has been developed by scientists in Brno for five years and started in late 2017
an observational study of 50 chronic wounds in 45 patients in the Czech Republic and the Czech Republic
Slovakia.

"In 80 percent of patients it has been able to significantly reduce
size of the wound, or close them completely "
says
Kišeláková. Some chronic wounds were up to 13 years.

Based on these clinical experiences, experts in the Czech Republic and the UK
Slovakia recommends the amniotic membrane as a suitable method of treatment
diabetic foot. It is also suitable for other skin defects. In Slovakia
according to Kiusakak's amniotic membrane for the early, applied or doing
dermatovenerological, diabetic and surgical procedures
workplaces in Svidnik, Levoci, Dolno Cubino, Ľubochni, Banská Bystrici,
Košice and Bratislave. The application of amnion membrane to date is an insurance company
Slovakia does not pay.

One of the patients whose new way of treatment helped Sonya
Hlohovec. She was 11 years old with a chronic wound.
"The method is minimal invasive. Nothing for cutting, membrane
he will only lie down, moisten and cover the wound "
says Zdeněk
Bones from the National Center of Tissue and Cells in Brno. The procedure itself
it only takes a few minutes, but whether the application membrane is specific
the case should be considered by a doctor. For example, a patient may not have
infection.

"Chronic wound is defined as a wound that does not heal
for six or eight weeks, "
Kořístek approached him.
It is often associated with diabetes, but it can be, for example,
decubitus and ulceration of the skin of different origins. The wound is constantly infected, pain
and dramatically exacerbates the quality of life.
