The number of patients with acute respiratory illnesses has increased, mainly in Bratislava



BRATISLAVA, Nov. 10 (WebNoviny.sk) – The number of acute respiratory diseases (AROs) this week has increased by 33.5 percent over the previous year. As SITA informed Chief Health Officer Ján Mikasa, doctors reported 38,098 acute respiratory diseases (AROs).

The biggest morbidity in Bratislava is

The highest morbidity was recorded in the Bratislava area, the lowest in the Žilinský region. Most commonly, respiratory illnesses have affected children in five years. Complicational doctors recorded 910 people, representing 2.4 percent of all AROs.

The most common complications are sinusitis (465). Other complications were otitis (254) and pneumonia (191). Diseases were reported by 57 percent of GPs for children and adolescents and 46 percent of GPs for adults.

They stopped teaching in kindergarten

Physicians on the 45th week also reported 2.990 influenza and flu cases, representing 7.8 percent of the total ARO. Compared with the previous week, the disorder increased by 49.4 percent. The most sick were in the Trnava region, at least in Bratislava.

Inflammation is the majority of infected children in five years. Teaching was canceled this week in kindergarten in Trenčín region.
