The volume of housing loans at the end of September amounted to EUR 26.5 billion. The annual volume of loans grew by nearly 2.5 billion euros, an increase of 161 million euros a month in the month. These are the current data of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).
At the end of nine months, housing savings banks' loans amounted to EUR 2.38 billion, in-credits. Since the beginning of the year, the Slovak regulator adapted the reporting on credit data.
The reason is the legal change in mortgage banking and later changes in reporting since the beginning of this year. So, new times are not available for sub-categories of housing loans.
The share of housing loans of some banks was the largest share of Slovenská sporiteľňa, which amounted to 27.73 percent. Following is VUB with a share of 20.38 percent, and third place is Tatra Bank with a share of 14.3 percent.
For the construction of housing savings banks, the largest housing savings bank is the largest. That was 82.75 percent. Following are the remaining companies operating in Slovakia, namely Wüstenrot Building Savings Bank and ČSOB Building Savings Bank.
