Peru's footballers came to the Copa America semifinals. In Saturday's four-man final in Salvador, Uruguay won 5: 4 in an 11-minute shootout after a free-kick after regular time.
At this stage of the continental championship there was no extension. In the fight for progress in the final they come to defend the title of Chile.
The record 15-strike South American champion Uruguay managed to get in the chances but could not turn them into a chance. Cavani was in the first half and Godin shot high above the second half. Uruguay did not recognize three Arrascaet, Cavani and Suarez for offense, twice confirmed by VAR.
In the end, Oscar Tabarez coaches did not pass the shooting, where Suarez hesitated from the beginning and this proved to be crucial. In the semi-finals, the Brazilians will meet with a rival from Argentina. Up to three quarters of this year's tournament decided to shoot at 11 meters.
