Ford will continue to lay off in Europe and thus seek a way to increase its business profitability, while at the same time Americans will present three completely new models with radical changes over the next five years.
A renewed portfolio for European buyers
Ford has redefined its model offer last year. With focus and celebration, a new generation of plagues will soon be affected by the road, and the new small pink cross will be available at the end of the year, and an electric cross will soon be added to the mustang genes.
Stuart Rowley, head of European Ford's job, explained that he would continue to complement his portfolio and adapt it to the needs of the market. This means that it will focus on the production of family hybrids of all sizes.
Radical changes in business
Recovery will also lead to surplus workers. The work will be not only workers in factories, but also employees in offices and managers. In Europe, Ford employs about 53,000 people, and 12,000 people will lose their jobs after the radical changes are over. By the end of 2020 Americans will have eighteen factories in the old continent, which is six less than at the beginning of this year.
Due to these changes, Rowley expects that profitability will be significantly improved in the second half of this year. Last year, Europe made up to 350 million euros in losses. At the same time, they are on the right path to capture the EU's commitment to CO2 emissions. By the end of the year they want to introduce sixteen electric or electrified models.
