Samsung introduced a folding phone

The South Korean smartphone maker introduced a prototype of smartphone that opens as a book at a development conference in San Francisco a few days ago. Analysts, however, expected to present a very simple smartphone, but only the technology on which they are based is expected.

On the front of the prototype that Samsung has introduced to more than 5000 software developers and affiliates, there is a relatively small 11.6 centimeter diagonal display with a 18.5 centimeter main screen.

In a folded state, the device can be used as a normal smartphone. When the user opens, the application that is used then switches to a much larger screen called Samsung Infinity Flex. Of course, on this screen, it's possible to display much more information and content than the smaller one. This is not only useful for photos, videos, and games, but for example. also for news apps that can run many more messages.

Even better: As Samsun's messages say, the spreader can use up to three applications at the same time without becoming opaque. For more comfortable use, it is necessary to provide a new interface design for a single user interface. In addition, Google has announced that a future version of the operating system will also support folding phones.

How to see a new smartphone is not yet known. At a development conference, Samsung introduced a prototype so it was not possible to see anything but a screen. Also, it is not known when a new smartphone should come to the market.

Start selling should not be far away. Samsung plans to launch the "next few months" with mass production Infinity Flex. Analysts expect the first Samsung handsfree smartphone to be expected in 2019. years.

Since the next generation of Infinity Flex is the next generation, Samsung has invited all those present at the development conference to participate. If their programs are not suitable, the folding phone will also be a blank device without the actual content.
