economy Baltic Pipe, a pipeline from Norway to Poland, was approved by the Danish government. The gas pipeline should be from the existing gas pipeline in the North Sea across Denmark to Poland.
The approval went to a time when Denmark and Poland could not agree long enough about where the sea border actually left. This question was resolved earlier in November.
In Jutland, Fen and Zeland, a large number of Danish municipalities have been affected, and according to the agreement between the two countries, Poland will pay Denmark's fee for Norwegian gas that is transported through the country.
The project, which has criticized ecosystems for increasing dependence on fossil fuels, has the support of the European Commission – among other things, is considered to reduce Europe's dependence on Russian gas.
