Since 1990, SVT has reported the so-called "Solligan".
The measurements begin on summer nights and end later in the summer. In 2019 it is the sunshine measurement that is worth and the winner will be cast on August 16th.
After the first week of measurement, the leader was Bleaching Karlskrona. Between June 21 and June 27, Karlskrona damaged altogether 95 sunny hours.
"Coastal Stations On Top"
Second place, but 93 hours of sunshine, is northern Öland, followed by Hoburg on Gotland with 92 hours of sunshine.
"At the top we find coastal stations," says Mikael Sjöstrand, SVT meteorologist, in a report on Friday.
The mountain and mountain trio of Storlien, Kiruna and Tarfala apparently received at least the sun during the first week of research.
Last year, the Swedish tops had the most sunny hours after eight weeks of measurement.
Karlskrona once won the league – it was 2015 year.
