Alarm on suspicion of drowning came at 3 pm on Sunday.
"Parents are upset about the lack of girls," said Mats Rydberg, an emergency clerk at Halmstad, at Hallandsposten.
Emergency services were set up with three units. The Coast Guard and Salvation of the Sea participated in the operation.
"Rescue of the sea has begun the skull and we will continue to seek," Mats Rydberg told the newspaper.
But at 15.45, he announced that the quest for search would be completely interrupted.
"Probably there have not been missing the girls since the beginning," says Mats Rydberg, an internal emergency service officer in Halmstad.
